Are they realy any better?
Yes ,they are ,Vines that are not pumped up by synthetic fertilizers develop more extensive root systems and have lower yields,providing better tasting grapes with more extraction of flavor.Better flavor means no additives or tricks at the winery to improve flavor.
Do they taste “funky”?
All wines are not created equal,,and organic wines are no different.You have to be the ultimate judge of what taste good and what does not.That said.Well made organic wines do not taste different than any other wines.except for the reason mentioned above.
Are they more expensive?
Unlike many organic foods.Organic wines are priced the same as any other wine,In fact they are often better values.
